EALA to propose Somalia integration

EALA MPs have given divergent views on the proposed of integration of Somalia into the East African community.

This comes after the minister of state for east African affairs Julius Maganda Wandera while informing them about the upcoming East African heads of state summit that is likely to happen in the country later this month the heads of state plan to discuss of Somalia to the region.

One of the mps Susan Nakawuki says that they would like as EALA mps to be given a chance to give their views on Somalia saying that Somalia is not a stable country and this might jeopardize the security of the region.

Fredrick Mukasa Mbidde however says that the security in the country should be a hindrance as the most important aspect in any integration is creation of markets.
