Religious leaders want presidential debate included in electoral road map

The elder’s forum of Uganda and the inter religious council of Uganda are proposing that the presidential debates be included in the electoral road map to give more room to candidates to attend them with no big excuse.

According to the chairman the elder’s forum of Uganda, Justice James Ogola, the just concluded presidential debate was very much successful and now are looking forward to organizing the second debate in early February this year that will see candidates’ debate their regional, international relations, investment, peace and security policies for the nation.

Justice James also rubbishes the comment made by the NRM candidate who said that the debates are meant for  secondary schools  as he says this was intended to help the nation get to know what the would be presidents have in stock for the nation.
