Kampala-Uganda, September 26, 2026, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has guided born-again Christians on prosperous sermons that enlighten religious flock on means of attaining wealth for individuals and homesteads through production for both local and regional markets through regional integration.
He made the remarks while officiating at “The Big Fix” Holy Spirit Global Conference at Miracle Centre Cathedral – Rubaga, Kampala.
“The Big Fix” Holy Spirit Global Conference 2026 is a seven-day international Christian gathering taking place from September 21st to 27th, at the Miracle Centre Cathedral Grounds in Rubaga – Kampala hosted by Pastors Robert and Jessica Kayanja of Robert Kayanja Ministries. The conference brings together Christians from Uganda and beyond for a week of worship, spiritual renewal, fellowship and teaching.
President Museveni reminded religious leaders to preach the message of affluence as he commended Pastor Robert Kayanja of Robert Kayanja Ministries for leading by action through his wealth creation interventions in Karamoja.
He dispels aid as a means of prosperity and calls on Christian believers to jointly pursue wealth creation and prosperity through regional markets and integration.
“Some people were talking of aid and so on, but aid cannot bring prosperity, we discovered that what will bring prosperity is producing a good or a service and you sell it, that’s how you will get prosperity”, he said.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has called on Christians to strategically position themselves to benefit from the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), particularly as Africa’s population continues to grow and expand the available market. He emphasised that Africa’s unity, economic integration and access to a wider regional market should be a shared aspiration.
“We have already started a continental trade area, it is there but not working clearly as it should but that is the medicine for our prosperity. So, if we unite in a common market, we shall be very useful to ourselves and to the world, that one will address the issue of prosperity”, President Museveni added.
President Museveni also cautioned against restrictive trade approaches among African countries, condemning barriers to free movement of goods within the East African Community, which he said undermine regional integration, unity and economic cohesion.
He reminded Africans that no single country can adequately achieve this objective on its own, stressing the need for proper organisation, regional cooperation and coordinated strategies among African countries to strengthen collective security.
President has donated Shs.2 billion into pastors SACCOs at Miracle Center Cathedral for their socio-economic empowerment.
Pastor Robert Kayanja the head of Robert Kayanja ministries has commended President Museveni’s leadership that granted freedom of worship and ushered in ultimate peace, Security and stability into the country and ending of sectarian politics.
“Thank you for your wise anointed leadership, that has taken Uganda out of the dungeon, and you have brought it to where we are, so that we can host these wonderful people. We also want to thank our forces, the CDF for that we have no incidents of insecurity here”, he said.
Pastor Robert Kayanja has revealed plans to establish a 5 trillion shillings milk project through the cow bank initiative that targets to rally hundreds of Christians to rear cows for mass milk production.
“We were in Kabula, we gave away 40 cows, we were in Lwentale-Sembabule and gave away 40 cows, so, whatever cow will produce, will come back to the bank, so Mr. President we give the cow and the calf will come back to the bank, if we can have one million Christians with a cow, we will be able to produce minimum of 5 litres of milk per cow a day, that will be over 5 million litres a day. So, even if we are using it in our schools, we will be able to fight hunger”, he added.
Pastor Robert Kayanja also called for actualization of East Africa regional market by addressing the existing impediments to its full operationalization.
